From SEO Student:

If you are on a budget or this is your first time developing a site, then I recommend using adwords by Google. This is a great keyword tool and it is free. If you have a little bit to spend on this project, then wordtracker is a great tool to use. Now if you have a larger budget and want the best in keyword tools, then go with Hubspot. Hubspot has website grading tools along with many ways to generate keywords, track your keyword success and your competition. These kind of tools are for the seriously dedicated seo specialists.

It's scary. Like Pete has been looking at my Accounting Payables.
The first thing I did to begin to drive traffic to my website was to use Google Adwords to develop leads. The keywords were helpful, but I wanted more. So I subscribed to Wordtracker and a whole buck more keywords. Unfortunately, what I still lacked was a tool to effectively measure my keywords and help me optimize them.
I've been a Hubspot customer for a little over a month now and have seen my site traffic ranking build from around 6,800,000 in February prior to my move to my current ranking of about 1,780,000 and climbing.
Can't say enough for all the tools Hubspot offers users to improve their sites...and Blogs too!
